Born to two young pastors in Tulsa, Oklahoma, I assumed I'd become a woman of the cloth just as soon as I could convince a seminary to give me a degree. After 26 years, the closest I've gotten to officially shepherding God's flock is a two-minute ordination from universallifechurch.com and a tendency to indulge in the occasional Biblical metaphor.
